'' When I was a child, I lived with paper birds, and when I lived in Karuizawa, there was a cafe where wild birds would come to the window feeders. I loved to spend time there watching the birds and reading books. Birds are somehow fragile, cute, and free.... I still look up at the sky every day to watch them fly.'' says Mr. Ogiwara.

Misato Ogihara lives in Tokyo and Yamanashi. After studying design at Tama Art University, she worked as a scenic artist for operas and concerts, and as a store designer. She is active as a designer, illustrator, and artist.
